Developed for Bouygues Travaux Publics, Roby is a robot dedicated to applications on large-scale construction sites and specifically tasks of:
- Automatic Drilling,
Comprised of a mobile base and a poly-articulated arm, Roby executes these painful and repetitive tasks. The integration of this robot reduces the risk of MSDs (musculoskeletal disorders) for workers and offers greater efficiency and productivity on construction sites.
For example, Roby was used on the construction site of the Flamanville EPR reactor for holes in a tunnel, during the work of the Philharmonie of Paris and on the pictures below at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport for the construction of a 53,000 cubic meters Glycol pool where 11,000 holes of 40 cm deep with 3 cm between them had to be drilled.
